elSol Bachata Social Competition 2026 - Amateur Independent Competition powered by Bachata Social World Cup We are excited to announce the elSol Bachata Social Competition 2026, taking place during elSol Fall Festival 2026. Organized in collaboration with Bachata Social World Cup, this Independent Competition uses the official Digital Competition Hub for registrations, competitor management, judging and results. The competition is designed to reward authentic social dancing, musicality, connection, adaptability and the ability to create an enjoyable dance experience with different partners. Event Details Festival: elSol Fall Festival 2026 Competition: elSol Bachata Social Competition 2026 Division: Amateur Division only Preliminaries and Semi Finals: Saturday, November 14, 2026 Finals: Sunday, November 15, 2026 Registration deadline: November 13, 2026, 15:00 CET Competition Entry Fee: 25 EUR Judges: Official judges panel, lineup to be announced Official registration: https://bachatasocialworldcup.com/qualifiers/bachata-social-competition-2026 Amateur Division This competition is open exclusively to Amateur dancers. The Amateur division is intended for dancers who do not receive payment for teaching Bachata or dancing Bachata professionally. Participants are expected to register according to their actual status. The organizers reserve the right to review registrations and move participants if necessary to ensure fairness. Competition Format The competition follows a Jack & Jill inspired social dance format. Participants register individually as Leaders or Followers. Partners are assigned during the competition and dancers rotate throughout the rounds. The competition focuses on individual social dancing skills rather than choreography or performance. The event may include: • Preliminaries • Semi Finals • Finals Preliminaries and Semi Finals will take place on Saturday, November 14, 2026. Finals will take place on Sunday, November 15, 2026. The exact number of heats and progression structure will depend on the final number of competitors. Judging Each dancer is judged individually in their role as Leader or Follower. Judging focuses on: • Fundamentals • Timing • Body control • Clean movement • Connection • Communication • Adaptability • Musicality • Creativity and style • Positive presence • Partner comfort Authentic social dancing is valued above choreography, tricks and show elements. Awards In addition to diplomas, competitors will have the opportunity to win passes for future elSol events and prizes from event partners.
